9 Best Comedy Movies for April Fools

With the annual day of jokes and pranks upon us, there's no shortage of comedy and laughs. To some, this day has them constantly looking over their shoulder, while for others, they are planning their best hijinx and elaborate stunts.

If you’re looking to do April Fool’s Day a little differently this year - aka pretend it’s just another day of the year - there’s always a way to get into the mood from a distance. This list contains 9 of the best comedy movies that will give you the much needed laughs and harmless foolery.

Daddy’s Home
Starting off strong with the duo of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. In this 2015 action-comedy, Brad and Dusty are on a mission to be the best dad to Megan and Dylan. If you haven’t watched it, you’re truly missing out on the chaotic one-upping mentality. My favorite scene is obviously when the plot moves to the backyard skatepark. You can find Daddy’s Home at the Kiosk!

Impractical Jokers: The Movie
Sal, Joe, Q, and Murr hit the road to rectify a high school mishap in 1992. If you don’t know these jokesters by now, then you’re truly missing out on outrageous dares and unlimited challenges that are out of pocket. This movie also has some appearances from icons such as Paula Abdul, Jaden Smith, and Joey Fatone!

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
You want more Will Ferrell, I'll give you more Will Ferrell. Ron Burgundy is a national treasure and is the center of every group, broadcast, and party. While this movie doesn't have any pranks or wild stunts, there’s no doubt that you’ll be laughing the entire time. Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is available to rent at the Kiosk.

Big Fat Liar
BFL is any 90s kid’s dream movie. I can remember watching this one on a loop and wishing I could live in the prop warehouse just like Jason and Kaylee did. There are no better pranks than dying the pool blue, gluing the headset into Marty Wolf’s ear, and modifying the controls to a car causing it to play "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" by Eiffel 65.

The War with Grandpa
Peter is super excited that his grandpa is coming to live with his family…until he realizes that he’s taking his room and now Peter is forced to sleep in the attic. Just like you guessed it, Peter is out for revenge and is declaring war with an arsenal of well-oiled pranks to make him want to leave. Watch this chaos for yourself and rent The War with Grandpa at the Kiosk.

Home Alone
Speaking of pranks at home, no one does it better than the OG, Kevin McCallister. After his parents accidentally left him at home, it is up to this 8 year old to defend his home from a pair of robbers. Some say this is just a Christmas movie, but to me, this is a classic that can be watched all year long.

Jackass Forever
They’re forever young annnnd still funny as ever. One thing that you can say about Johnny Knoxville and his friends is that they’re immature, creative, and truly unhinged (in a good way). This group of friends is like something you’ve never seen, but I can guarantee that you’ll never stop laughing watching them get into wildly absurd situations. Rent Jackass Forever at the Kiosk today!

Neighbors
Zac Efron and Seth Rogen have entered the comedy chat. You should expect nothing but disturbances, wild displays of chaos, and overall insanity from a fraternity house and their new neighbors. Say what you want about this 2014 comedy, but I honestly would have loved to be a part of the planning of these highly thought out pranks.

Grown Ups
Rounding up the list of the best pranks and top comedy is no other than Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, and David Spade. These besties are coming back together and picking up where they left off...which means they won’t grow up just because they grew old.
